Plan For Financial Assistance

College is affordable when you take classes at Trident Tech. In fact, tuition at TTC is less than half of other colleges. Factor in the opportunity to receive scholarships, financial aid and S.C. lottery-funded tuition assistance and you will find college is well within your reach!

The FAFSA is your key to unlocking financial aid.

Completing the FAFSA is the key to finding out your eligibility for federal and state financial aid as well as some scholarships.

IMPORTANT: Include TTC's school code 004920 on your FAFSA application so Trident Technical College will receive your FAFSA.

If you need assistance with the FAFSA contact TTC's Educational Opportunity Center.

Tuition and Fees

The tuition at Trident Technical College is less than half of most other colleges and universities, which makes Trident Technical College a wise and affordable choice.

When planing your financial assistance, a good place to start is with the tuition and fees for one semester in the current academic year. It will also be helpful to understand the total cost of attending Trident Tech. This includes things like books and transportation and is used to determine the amount of financial aid awarded. To help you figure out a more accurate cost of attending college we offer the Net Price Calculator.

Scholarships and other financial aid

There are many types of financial aid available to our students. A very important first step in receiving financial aid is filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Payment Plans

To help make college as affordable as possible Trident Tech offers a deferred payment. This is a payment plan and not a loan – interest charges, finance charges and credit checks do not apply. This gives you several flexible payment options that will work best for you.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Applying for financial aid is not as difficult as you might think. When you follow our step-by-step instructions, it is actually easy. The entire process can take 4-6 weeks so be sure to start the process early and stay on top of all of the important deadlines and promptly provide any documents requested by the Financial Aid office. A late start could mean that your award isn’t available by the tuition deadline. If your financial aid isn’t in place by the deadline, you will be responsible for paying out of pocket.
